Andreia Preda Paraschiva, MD, PhD Candidate, graduated medicine school in 2006, becoming an obstetrics and gynecology specialist in 2012. Her work currently focuses on her doctoral thesis, the research topic being: “Premature birth – methods of prediction and prevention”. She is also an associate professor in the Obstetrics Gynecology discipline, teaching and leading activities with students in the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Haţieganu”. Dr. Andreia Preda is currently working as a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology at the Imogen Research Center in Cluj Napoca, a unique interdisciplinary and multifunctional center in Romania.
Her main activities in research focus on her doctoral thesis regarding premature birth, but she is also involved in other national and international research projects that are currently under evaluation. Other areas of interest include perinatal medicine and reproductive health.
