Nicu Drăghici, MD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Haţieganu” Cluj Napoca, in 2010. During his residency, he furthered his training with several internships in France, including an internship at the renowned neuro-psychiatric hospital Pitié Salpêtrière in Paris. For 6 months he attended courses at the Sorbonne University – Paris 1. He is currently a neurologist at the RoNeuro Institute where he does various electroneurophysiological procedures for patients: such as ENG, EMG, ENP SSPE and PEM.

He has been a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Haţieganu” since 2014 and the research topic being “The pharmacological effectiveness and innocuousness of neuroplasticity in diabetic neuropathy”.

He is a member of the Council for Doctoral Studies (CSUD) in the same institution. He is also a research assistant at the Imogen Institute, a department in the Emergency Hospital Cluj Napoca. He is also as an investigator in the Extend clinical trial, which is a multicenter extension study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of medications.

He has competency in Electroneuromyography and the main areas of interest are the study and different approaches to peripheral neuropathies.

In 2012-2013, during his professional training, he was an associate professor for thy French and Romanian section in the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Haţieganu” Cluj Napoca.
Main interests:

High medical priorities are cerebrovascular diseases, electroneurophysiological explorations (ENG, EMG, ENP PES PEM), peripheral neuropathies and neuromuscular diseases.
